Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Comfort Pro Electric Hybrid Bike
Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- The Enviolo hub makes gear shifting intuitive because you choose your own pace without using fixed gears.
- The suspension fork increases comfort on poor road surfaces and light dirt roads.
- The Bosch Performance Line CX motor provides powerful pedal assist, making even hilly terrain manageable.
- The wide Schwalbe tyres combine low rolling resistance with good grip on wet or loose surfaces.
- The stepless Enviolo hub weighs a little more than a derailleur but is so easy to use that it makes up for that in daily use.
- As the Bosch 2A charger charges the 800 Wh battery relatively slowly, charging times can be quite long when the battery is empty.

The lightweight aluminium frame has a comfortable geometry that makes for relaxed handling. The integrated battery is neatly concealed inside the frame, contributing to a well organised look and better weight distribution. Thanks to the powerful Bosch motor with 85 Nm of torque, you can effortlessly switch between recreational biking and more sporty use, even on hilly terrain.
Stepless gear shifting and reliable braking
The bike is equipped with an Enviolo stepless gear hub, which allows for smooth gear shifting without intermediate steps and while continuing to cycle. The Gates CDX belt drive requires little maintenance and is quieter than a chain. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful and precise braking, even during rainfall or in otherwise wet conditions. This inspires confidence on daily rides as well as longer tours.
Practical equipment for versatile use
This Kathmandu Hybrid Comfort Pro bike comes with sturdy mudguards, an integrated luggage rack and a bright lighting system powered by the bike's battery. The Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency tyres offer low rolling resistance on asphalt and maintain grip on dirt roads. Thanks to the adjustable stem and ergonomic grips, cycling for longer periods of time remains pleasant. The stable kickstand and reliable frame lock make city use extra practical.

Good-quality bike.
Bike experience beyond expectations. The battery lasts for a very long time. The power the motor has is much better than other electric bikes. Suspension fork and suspension seat post give comfort.

Nice bike, service could be better
So far, a nice bike. It is very heavy to cycle faster than 25km/h though, which I managed a lot better with other ebikes. The bike is very heavy. Very strange that there is no bell on it. Service from Mantel disappointed me. When picking it up and testing it, the employee only wanted to raise the saddle slightly. After asking twice, it was raised slightly, but I left it and raised it about 5cm myself at home. 1 bolt of the front caliper had not been tightened. As a result, the brake soon started acting up. Centred and tightened the brake myself.
