Construction
The IVY Chain 9210/110 consists of 10 mm thick links of specially hardened steel. They are covered by a weatherproof and moisture-repellent Meshwebbing sleeve. This sleeve prevents damage to the paintwork of your bike, and protects the chain itself against the elements. As a result, the lock will last for a very long time without becoming weaker or less secure. All internal components, including the lock body, are also made of hardened steel. There is a soft casing around the lock body that prevents impact damage. So a thief will not be able to drill out or smash the lock easily.
User-friendly
With a length of 110 cm, the Abus IVY Chain is very suitable for locking your bike to fixed objects such as a fence, lamppost or tree. As you need the key to be able to close the lock, it is highly unlikely that you will forget to close the lock properly.

unfortunately not anti-theft
Take care with this lock. Is highly regarded everywhere and therefore thieves specialise in it. Don't need to grind but have found a way to force the lock. Unfortunately found out by trial and error. (Nothing against Mantel but worth sharing)

Strong and robust and heavy-duty lock.
After my second e bike was stolen again in 2 months, I opted for this stronger and heavier lock. I would advocate a fixed bike handlebar lock, like a car has, but that doesn't exist yet ??? I have confidence in this lock, and hope it will deter thieves.

Great lock that seems very sturdy. Disadvantage is that it is quite heavy and the sleeve slides over the lock closure, sometimes making it difficult to close.
