The Castelli Dolcissima 2 is a glove specifically designed for women who cycle mostly in summer. The mesh material on the back creates excellent breathability, keeping the hands cool in high temperatures. The Castelli Damping System (CDS) provides good protection for the median nerve. During cycling, this nerve can experience a lot of pressure caused by holding the handlebars. The CDS absorbs a large part of this pressure, greatly reducing the chance of numbness and, thus, increasing cycling comfort.
In order to increase the control over the handlebars, silicone prints have been added to the palm. These allow you to simply grip the handlebars more firmly. However, this cycling glove does not have a Velcro fastener, which means that the fit cannot be adjusted to your own liking. Fortunately though, the special pull tab between the middle and ring finger helps to remove the Castelli Dolcissima 2 with ease.
