The Castelli Competizione is a bib short for men which features many techniques of the Castelli models in the higher segment. This makes this short perfect for intensive rides, and quite affordable.
The Affinity Pro Lycra fabric used on the inside of the legs provides an excellent stretch. This results in a comfortable and tight fit. If you prefer a looser fit, then this may not be the short you are looking for. The outside of the legs is made of Vortex BLC fabric, which improves the short's aerodynamics.
The mesh suspenders and GIRO4 leg grippers keep the short firmly in place
To ensure that the Castelli Competizione sits well and comfortably, mesh suspenders have been added. These also increase the breathability of this bib short, which helps to maintain a constant body temperature. It is, of course, important that the legs remain in place. The GIRO4 leg grippers with their silicone stripes guarantee this.
Flat-lock seams for comfort and reflective details for safety
To minimise the chance of irritation, this short is fitted with flat-lock seams, which prevent a chafing feeling during cycling. And it even has extra safety features in the form of reflective details on the back.
The Castelli Kiss Air2 chamois is ideal for long rides
As icing on the cake, the Castelli Competizione is equipped with the Kiss Air2 chamois, which ensures that you can spend hours and hours on your bike feeling comfortable and without developing saddle pain. This chamois is made of a high-density foam with a soft top layer. Its material is fully seamless and stretches with your movements so as to minimise friction. In addition, the chamois has been cut in different thicknesses and has an anatomical fit. As such, it provides just the right amount of cushioning in the right places.
