Special gravel geometry
The basis of this gravel bike is the carbon frame. This frame is lightweight, which makes for pleasant riding characteristics. The cables run through the frame, here they are well protected from gravel and other dirt. Furthermore, BMC has opted for the Tuned Compliance Concept, which provides that extra bit of comfort. You have access to a D-shaped seat post, which provides good support for the lower back. A carbon fork is also fitted, filtering out unevenness in the road surface properly and providing support for the forearms.

Shifting gears is done with the smoothly shifting and durable SRAM Apex groupset. This gravel bike comes with 11 gears and an 11-42 cassette, providing you with plenty of range, allowing you to conquer the steeper trails in a pleasant gear. Braking is done with the hydraulic disc brakes of the SRAM Apex groupset. These brake discs deliver powerful braking performance, even in poor conditions. These discs brake also modulate well, for that extra bit of control in the corners.

When I had chosen my bike, the mechanic discovered that the frame had spray paint defects and did not get my new bike. I hadn't seen it myself had to wait a week for a new frame but very pleased with the honest service.
