Assos Mille GT Winter C2 Bib Tights

Ridden Castelli for years, but still got regular irritations around the crotch and groin. Switched to Assos this summer and no more problems. So now also a pair of trousers for cold days.

After cycling with a Roggeli Artico for 2 years, I switched to the Assos Mille GT winter c2 in winter. In a nutshell I should have bought these 2 years ago! What an improvement. 10x better chamois. Much more comfortable. No zip at the bottom of the trouser legs what the Rogelli has. The seam across the back of the trouser legs are not disturbing in my opinion. Nor are the cross-stitched seams thv the hollow of the knee. These ensure that you do not have fabric stretched tight in the hollow of the knee For summer I also have an Assos Mille GT and I really like it. For my no other summer and winter cycling trousers than Assos. Is definitely worth the whole thing.

Pros & Cons

These shorts are the 8th in a long line of ASSOS shorts, from the racing fit size L to the comfort fit size M, they all provide unequalled comfort, the only drawback is the high price. However, it's important to keep things in perspective, as other, less accomplished brands offer the same prices. The foam insert is of very good quality, and saves the day because I can't stand inserts with gel (heating). I am therefore condemned to buying ASSOS. One small criticism though, I bought the famous GTO, and the excessive thickness of the insert ended up irritating me, I sent an email to ASSOS, who didn't reply. So zero points for after-sales service.
