The Cube Aim One is a sturdy, simple and reliable entry-level model in the hardtail MTB segment. The Shimano Cues 1x9 groupset and 11-46T cassette give you a great gear range for both forest trails and the road, and the hydraulic Shimano disc brakes deliver ample stopping power, come rain or shine.
Choose the Aim One if you want a carefree ride on a responsive mountain bike. The comfortable, wide tyres (2.25") give you the grip you need on both trails and asphalt, and the SR Suntour suspension fork with 100 mm of suspension travel smoothly absorbs shocks from stones, roots and potholes. Thanks to the Size Split system, there is a perfect Aim One for every rider.

Size Split system
Instead of using the same wheel size for every frame size, Cube selects the wheel size that best suits each size. This ensures every rider maintains the right balance between manoeuvrability and ease of rolling.
Dropper post ready
The internal cable routing already features a feed-through for a dropper post. If you want to upgrade to a dropper post at some point in the future, you can easily do so.
Mounting points for optional additions
The frame features mounting points for the Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1 (rear luggage rack) and a flat-mount kickstand. This allows you to customise the Aim One to suit your needs for everyday use.
Who is this bike for?
- Riders who are new to mountain biking and are looking for a straightforward entry-level bike for a carefree ride.
- Riders who cover a mix of forest tracks, easy singletrack routes and asphalt roads.
- Riders who want to be able to add a dropper post, kickstand and/or luggage rack later on.
When to consider a different model?
- If you are looking for a more finely tuned fork for tougher technical terrain, take a look at higher-spec models within Cube's range.
Included as standard:
- Cube PP MTB pedals
Not included / still required or useful:
- A kickstand – the frame has mounting points for one.
- A luggage rack compatible with the Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1.
- A mountain bike helmet.
If you opt for home delivery (available in the Netherlands and Belgium), the delivery driver will unpack your new Cube Aim One mountain bike, fit the pedals and straighten the handlebars so you are ready to head straight into the woods.
You can attach any accessories (such as a kickstand and/or luggage rack) and adjust the saddle height yourself using an Allen key. Find the tools you need in our tool collection.

- If you ride tubeless, check the tubeless sealant level every now and then, as it dries out over time.
- Clean the chain and cassette regularly with a chain cleaner, especially after wet rides.
- Have the brakes checked annually, especially if you use your bike a lot.
Can I fit a dropper post to the Cube Aim One mountain bike?
The frame is prepared for this with internal cable routing, but the bike comes as standard with a regular seatpost (Cube Performance Post), not a dropper post.
Can I fit a kickstand and a luggage rack to the Cube Aim One MTB?
Yes, the frame has mounting points for a flat-mount kickstand and is compatible with the Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1 luggage rack.
Does the Cube Aim One mountain bike have a replaceable derailleur hanger?
Yes. Should the derailleur hanger get damaged in a fall, it will be easy to replace.
