Description
A GO Bar contains less than 2% fat on average. GO Bars don't contain hydrogenated vegetable oils, added sugars, fructose, glucose syrup, glycerin, artificial flavoring and coloring agents or binding agents. The candy bar is very popular among cyclists due to its firm structure (doesn't melt).
Technology
Recommended use: Ideal for consumption before or during exercise, or as a snack between meals. Open, eat and enjoy!Recommended dose: Depleting carbohydrate reserves during exercise is one of the main causes of fatigue. Carbohydrate supplementation before and during exercise can improve (cycling) performance. If the effort lasts longer than 90 minutes, it is recommended to consume extra carbohydrates. It is recommended to consume approximately 1 to 2 energy bars per hour. Or consume an energy bar in combination with other sports nutrition products until an intake of 60 grams of carbohydrates per hour is reached. A common strategy is to consume energy bars during the less intensive phases of exercise. The digestion process of energy bars requires a higher blood flow compared to other sports nutrition products.
Storage advice: Store in a cool, dry place (15-22ºC). Keep out of reach of children.

Tasty bar with lots of energy
Really helped maintain energy levels during a ride along Flanders' most beautiful climbs. I have not been cycling for long and always struggled to eat enough during slightly longer rides (which I can rarely make time for). Good bars (like this one) and gels make that a lot easier. Bar is a bit big though, so gives a slightly fuller feeling at higher exertion.
