The Zipp 303 XPLR Gravel wheels are hookless and have been optimised for tubeless tyres, which does mean you can't fit clinchers on these wheels. Hookless rims ensure an almost seamless fit between your rims and your tyres. This means you can cycle with low tyre pressures without a problem, and the tyre can more easily adjust itself to the terrain for increased grip and comfort. Plus, these rims have aerodynamic advantages, because air flows more easily past the rim.
