Description

Description

The Sidi Eagle 10 mountain bike shoe is completely renewed compared to its predecessor. Not only has the shoe been given a sleeker look, but the biggest advantage is still the new buckle. The new Tecno 3 locking system that's easy and quick to adjust. This closure is very precise and can be adjusted per click. Because it is placed on both the forefoot and instep, the shoe fits nicely to prevent friction on the inside of the shoe.

The MTB SR17 sole that the shoe is equipped with feels comfortable but also gives you the necessary strength needed as it is made of a combination of carbon and nylon. Hereby bringing together the best of both worlds in one sole. It is possible to mount spikes at the toes of the Sidi Eagle 10 mountain bike shoes for when you have a go at really rough terrain, these will have to be purchased separately though.

Technology

• Soft instep 4
• Tecno 3 system
• Rubberen toes
• Comfort Fit inner sole
• MTB SR17 sole

Detailed explanation of sizing in mm
In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.

You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.

What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!

Fantastic piece of kit!

- Kerri 29 October 2020

Fantastic product! We looked at tens and tens before opting for these and they don't disappoint one bit! It's always risky buying things online as there's no way of knowing if they are as good as they look or if they fit and are comfortable in this case. My husband says they fit like gloves (he is probably just slightly under a size 9 and bought a 9) and are mega comfortable. He cycles a lot -50/60 miles in one go mostly, so he's qualified to say that they are comfortable even on long rides. The style is superb and the quality of the material is not just great, it really looks the biz. They look really expensive and the plain colour and no fuss design I think, makes them look classy not vulgar as some bright colours can do ( just my opinion of course). We had them at a reduced price so do shop around for a bargain. There are others much more expensive on the market but we feel these are on par with anything else we looked at. We've also bought sidis before and only now had to replace them after they cracked after 10 years! So they do last and are not expensive given how long they do last. It's worth investing in a more expensive product like these as cheaper ones might not go the distance (no pun intended!).Tried, tested and approved! Would recommend in a heart beat. Go for it! Upcoming "Black Friday" might be a good time to try for a bargain.

Great look, great fit, great price

- Brian 5 June 2020

The Sidi Eagle 10 mtb shoes certainly look the part when out on the trails but that's not all, they have an excellent grippy sole for scrambling up an unrideable rise or walking on the all important cafe stop. They are so easy to adjust on the fly to get that all important sweet spot in comfort that I can never quite get right when first setting off. A great price from Mantel helps as well. Top marks

Usual SIDI perfection

- Justin 21 May 2020

Brilliant price from Mantel, and delivered quickly. My last SIDI Dominators have lasted 18 very hard years of racing and enduro and they have been faultless. They are still going strong although look knackered and slightly out of shape! So time to treat myself to these Eagle 10s. Lovely fit shoe, and Tecno 3 system is big improvement for me. Very light and also nice and stiff sole. I chose these over the Jarin or Drako as am not keen on carbon soles for MTB use as they can slip and susceptible to damage. These are perfect balance of lightness, stiffness, looks and of course I know they will last for years! Friends who buy other brands seem to go through about 4 pairs to my 1 pair, so I think the price paid fo SIDIs is worth every penny. Thanks Mantel!
