The MTB SR17 sole that the shoe is equipped with feels comfortable but also gives you the necessary strength needed as it is made of a combination of carbon and nylon. Hereby bringing together the best of both worlds in one sole. It is possible to mount spikes at the toes of the Sidi Eagle 10 mountain bike shoes for when you have a go at really rough terrain, these will have to be purchased separately though.

In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.

Qualità molto buona, ma preferisco una normale chiusura a boa!
Si tratta di una scarpa di ottima qualità e il sistema di chiusura è destinato a durare a lungo. Tuttavia, in termini di facilità d'uso, per me è un punto di rottura. Per questo motivo non comprerei di nuovo queste scarpe. Sotto le scarpe da ciclismo è molto difficile da regolare e con le scarpe over è addirittura impossibile. Inoltre, in un paio di occasioni, c'era così tanta erba e fango all'interno e intorno alle scarpe che quasi non si allentavano. Per me, la facilità d'uso di una normale chiusura a boa è ancora migliore di questo sistema.
