  • The S-shape makes it easier for you to stay in position and will help you slide less.
  • This saddle is heavier than its counterparts from a higher price range.

The Selle Italia SLR Boost TM Superflow saddle will support the avid rider in a very effective way. Its shape makes it easier to stay in the saddle and reduces the chance of sliding. The saddle is also relatively lightweight, as it's one of the lightest in its price range!

Saddle shape
This saddle has a semi-round rear part, making it highly suitable for riders who move a little while they ride and whose hips rock a little from side to side. The semi-round shape provides plenty of support for those riders while maintaining sufficient freedom of movement compared to a flat saddle.

Flexibility
This is an S-shaped saddle, meaning it’s raised at the back and lowered in the middle. This S-shape makes it possible for people with an inflexible spine to assume a proper riding position. This is useful because people with an inflexible spine often have more trouble rotating their pelvis.

Cut-out
This saddle has a cut-out and alleviates pressure for those who often experience discomfort or pressure to their soft tissue areas.

Very comfortable but took a few rides before I got used to it.

- Sean 7 December 2024

Most comfortable saddle I have owned. It wasn't comfortable on day one, but after a few rides it became more comfortable.

Pros & Cons

Very comfortable

Well built firm and comfortable

- Pelle 28 October 2024

Good to battle perineum discomfort, nice and firm saddle, but make sure to get the correct size for your bum, otherwise you will walk away with saddle sores.

Pros & Cons

Big cutout
fairly light weight
firm
sensitive in sizing

Definitely worthwhile

Now that I have this one, I'm sure my previous saddle was up! What a difference. Of course a real road bike saddle so you know what to expect. I sometimes hear they creak, but I haven't heard that yet.

Pros & Cons

light
quality
sturdy
rather short rails

Great saddle

- Niclas 16 July 2024

I think I have found my saddle. I realise that I need a new seatpost, as the Selle Italia has a different geometry to my previous saddle and is significantly more offset to the rear. Otherwise very comfortable.

This could be just the saddle.

- Dick 16 July 2024

After 35 years and at least ten saddles, this might be it! A sturdy saddle, which I did not expect with such a wide recess. As a first impression, the good support stands out. More so than with my current Fizik Arione Open. Fine cover material, not too stiff. I like to be able to move around a bit anyway. Haven't ridden long distances with it yet, 40-60 km. Your perineum is really well spared with this saddle. My sit bones are 10.5 cm apart. That is why I opted for the 130 mm wide.

Pros & Cons

Spacious recess
Sturdy
