Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- This saddle is one of the lightest in its price range!
- The S-shape makes it easier for you to stay in position and will help you slide less.
- This saddle is heavier than its counterparts from a higher price range.
- This is a hard saddle, which means you'll need to bike comparatively frequently and for a longer time to get used to it. It provides the best support for long rides. If you cycle less than three times a week, you'll need a softer saddle that provides more

Saddle shape
This saddle has a semi-round rear part, making it highly suitable for riders who move a little while they ride and whose hips rock a little from side to side. The semi-round shape provides plenty of support for those riders while maintaining sufficient freedom of movement compared to a flat saddle.
Flexibility
This is an S-shaped saddle, meaning it’s raised at the back and lowered in the middle. This S-shape makes it possible for people with an inflexible spine to assume a proper riding position. This is useful because people with an inflexible spine often have more trouble rotating their pelvis.
Cut-out
This saddle has a cut-out and alleviates pressure for those who often experience discomfort or pressure to their soft tissue areas.

I forgot that I have it under my butt
I was searching for a saddle which would alleviate my perineal numbness and inner-thigh rubbing issues and the SLR Boost Superflow surely delivered on this matter. The pressure relief channel is not only super wide, but also very long, which makes the saddle very comfy even in aggresive racey position. My seat bone distance is approx 12 cm and while Selle Italia's web page suggests L3 as the proper size for me, L3 is only 3mm narrower than my previous saddle, so I suspected that it won't help for thigh rubbing problem. I therefore went for an S3 and it was a good decision - thigh rubbing is gone completely. The saddle quite hard though, so bibs with a good quality chamois are mandatory. My longest ride on it so far was about 66 km - no issues whatsoever on this distance. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

Top saddle
I thought my Fizik saddle was comfortable, until I was able to try this saddle once. Only then did I find out how comfortable you can be on a saddle. Whether it's long gravel rides or static on the indoor trainer, with this saddle I no longer suffer from the little aches and pains or numbness.

Top saddle
I had to get used to it for a few rides, but I don't want to go back now. No more saddle complaints and even after a 150km ride, I am still comfortable.

Expensive to buy but worth the money.
My only reason for buying a new saddle was to overcome numbness. This saddle solved it gallantly. I cycle 1 hour a day on race hybrid and it works fine for that.
