The Rotor REX 2.2 double crank arms are the cheaper version of the REX 1.2. With these crank arms are the technical developments from Rotor available for the mountain bike for a affordable price. The difference lies in the finish and its weight, in addition the red accents you found on the 1.2 version are also implemented in this grey version.
An important technology used in the Rotor cranks is the so-called ''Trinity Drilled System''. With this system the cranks are 3 times drilled out on the in inside, resulting in a very light and yet rigid construction. This crank arm withstands the rotation and bend forces better than a standard crank.
This crank of Rotor uses a UBB30 axle. This means that this crank can be fitted in almost every frame. The axle has the right length for a frame with BSA/ITA bearings.
