A nice, large cassette with enough range for my 1x11 cross hybrid. I converted my cross hybrid from a 3x10 to a 1x11 Shimano XT drivetrain. This cassette from the mountain bike range, fits the standard 35mm HG freehubs without any modifications. On the largest sprocket, the drive makes slightly more noise because of the chainline, which is now slightly less optimal. But the chain stays on without any problems. Even when riding on rough terrain. The cassette shifts smoothly, even under tension. The freewheel and shifting also sound a bit louder now, probably due to the use of an aluminium spider at the rear. All in all, a nice addition to my XT conversion.

My ebike was equipped with the Deore CS-5100 but it had soon had its day. I therefore replaced it with the XT M8000. I don't regret it for a single day. It runs extremely smoothly and there are no more problems with gear shifting.

Proper Shimano piece that you need to change regularly.

Previously I had the 11-speed 11-42, but in the mountains I was often just a few teeth short. With the 11-46 I am very happy !

I have converted my old bike from 3x9 to 1x11. To do this, I opted for the 11-speed XT cassette from Shimano. This fits without problems on the old freewheel body and the Variant 11-46 offers the right ratio for me in combination with a 32er chainring and 26" wheels in any terrain.

Like-for-like replacement in a complete Shimano drive train. Chain shifts reliably going up or down the cassette in the dry and in the mud.

A good upgrade from my old slx cassette, it shifts just a bit smoother. Installation was also flawless (if you have the right tool for that).

My previous casette wore out after 3500km so it was time for a new one. This cassette was also originally on my Scalpel so it was easy to choose. Mantel always has a great price and delivery was super fast as usual.

Straight replacement for the 11-40 I had before as the shifting is so good. I use it with a double (still!) as I like to have a slightly broader range of gears form my general riding. I could have run a single 11-45 but then the ratios would be too spaced for me.
