I recommend
Reliable tyres that no longer have to prove themselves
2 / 5
Not worth money.
With the 5000 I rode >10,000km and only punctured once with 2 tyres! But I hate punctures, so I spent an extra €10 per tyre anyway for the 5000STR which scores better on puncture resistance. A waste of money! In 2 weeks 2x punctures on a grain of sand! There is no sign of a puncture-resistant intermediate layer! Just rubber.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good all-round tyres
These tyres are easy to put around the rim. Using a foot pump (Joe Blow), they 'pop' in one go. Then insert the latex and you're done. Your bike is tubeless in 15 minutes! The tyres roll lightly and have plenty of traction. I can't say anything about puncture resistance after three rides.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Perfect for those who take cycling seriously
Incredibly good mileage and puncture protection compared to other premium tubeless tyres. Very comfortable and fast tyre.
3 / 5
Good tyre but not recommended with inner tube
For about 1200km, I was very satisfied; feels fast and comfortable! However, then the best seemed off and puncture resistance was completely gone. Five punctures at 220km (4x rear, 1x front, 4 TPU, 1 butyl). Found the hole and pebble each time, so not just badly checked. My conclusion must therefore be that this one is not 'tubeless ready', but 'tubeless mandatory'. The thinner construction than the standard GP5000 does not adequately protect inner tubes after some distance. Sealant would presumably have sealed the holes in the outer tyre.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
top quality
very good tyre
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
best tubeless tyre in terms of value for money
lasts +-5000km in my experience. very satisfied
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Smooth rolling tyre that does puncture quickly.
Now on my 9th tyre of this type. Rolls lightly and smoothly and has good traction, even in wet weather. On average, I can do 4205 km with one tyre, with peaks of 731 and 8877 km. All times a large puncture that was beyond repair but even on the 8877 km tyre the wear mark was still clearly visible so good durability.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Very quick leak and pricey
I feel the latest version of the gp 5000 is very prone to punctures
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fantastic band
Am on third set of tyres. Very satisfied. Can definitely do 6000km with them. Had 1 puncture. The latex Dynamic Barkeeper sealed the hole 2mm. Did 1000km more on them after that.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Perfect band
Drove 5,000 km in summer and winter with the previous tyre. Twice punctured by pieces of iron but a plug d'rin and on it went!
Pros & Cons

I only drive on this tyre
My 3rd pair

Lots of traction and good puncture protection!
Riding with wider tyres is really great , I will never go narrower again !
Pros & Cons

Perfect band
Easy to fit for a tubeless tyre. Perfect combination of speed, handling and puncture resistance for me.
Pros & Cons

Superb fast tyre
Very happy with this model, quick and comfortable
5 / 5
Nice tyre, very competitive, punctured quite quickly because of this, just like the competition.
Started on Schwalbe Pro One's and after 2000km (summer) first puncture (tubeless setup). (Winter) New Pro One on, this one punctured after only 100km. Bad luck. Next I tried the Conti GP 5000, first impression is that it has a better finish than the Schwalbe (better symmetry, a nicer finish.) Rolling is also fine. This will be my default fast tyre. However, this one was also flat again within 50km, really bad luck. It was striking that the pebbles I found in the puncture were so small that I asked myself whether a competitive tyre is for me, as I don't have a follow car. From other experiences I gather that winter is also a killer for competitive tyres. That's why I have now chosen the Pirelli Cinturato Velo (tubeless), with the peace of mind that I will lose a little on rolling resistance, but this is hardly noticeable. Very happy with my choice, going for a long ride feels much nicer now.

Very good grip, excellent ride, a very good tyre

The best there is
Some tinkering to get on the rim but otherwise it is a top tyre
Pros & Cons

This tyre feels better than my former Bontrager tyre.
Pros & Cons

Very comfortable to use
Perfect, comfortable and durable, with wear indicators

My favourite band for competitions.
I have been racing on these tyres for 3 years. Very nice and fast tyre. Also lasts quite long.

Just very good tyres. One of the best out there.

Would recommend Mantel to anyone
Excellent product exactly as described
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Complete, excellent in everything
In two years only two punctures, doing ~5000km per year. They are perfect in every context and with excellent durability. I see no better alternatives in the same price range.

Great tyres, hard to pass the gp5000 when looking
Great tyres and look
5 / 5
Top quality you expect from Continental's top model
Speed and grip you feel on the road, tubeless sphere you with slightly lower pressure comfortably and still fast or over most bumps.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top band, both in competitions and with training
Icm with milk and the blue sausage ideal. Never having to change tyres on the road with training and being able to get home. In races, although with lower tyre pressure, you can still finish a race.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
highly recommended despite the price
Very few leaks with the "normal version, so "never chance a winning team"
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Very good and reliable tyre!
Very satisfied with these tyres after about 300 km in 3 weeks. They offer great grip and today I drove on quite wet roads, they can do just fine too!
Pros & Cons
1 / 5
Choose another tyre.
I had good experiences with this tyre 2 years ago with the width 28 mm. Now in a month and a half 2 tyres width 32 mm have been written off due to transverse cracks in tread and sidewall. I would not recommend them again.

top shop
I normally order online, but this is nice anyway, just feel compare. i was also helped very well with good advice.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fast, comfortable but difficult to assemble the first time
With these tyres, I feel an increase of 1kmph compared to the factory tyres that were on the bike. Also, handling is better and the ride is softer on my arms. Even through 5km of sharp gravel I didn't ride flat. Fitting is difficult but doable with 2 people and sopping water
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Best out there
Been using Conti GP 5000 for many years. My first experience with tubeless ones. Very reliable tires and long-lasting. Instant good feel as soon as you get on to your bike.

Performance tyres in a class of their own!
Super rolling resistance, maximum comfort with wider tyres and a mega look to boot! Unfortunately quite expensive! But it's definitely worth it.
5 / 5
Continental still well placed
Outstanding performance and comfort for this 28 mm tyre
4 / 5
Top. These are quality tyres. Grip, wear, puncture resistance and comfort.
The product corresponds perfectly to my expectations.

So far very happy with GP 5000 series from continental.Already some km away with the previous types that also always met expectations.
Pros & Cons

Super!!! I will buy this one again :D
Super cool riding experience. I have ridden about 1000 km and have already found glass pieces in the tyre myself after bike rides, but no flat tyre! TOP :D
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Comfortable
This tyre in 30mm is very comfortable.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top tyres
Costs more than the other brands, but I can ride more miles with them too. Great tyres for tubeless.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Absolutely to buy
Undecided about buying them, I changed my mind as soon as I received them. Spectacular
5 / 5
Good set of TL tyres
Nice tyres sitting tight on the zipp 303 rims. Fitting was easier than expected.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top band
Top tyre. Excellent quality as always from Continental.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Good performance, lousy puncture protection.
Having already ordered a tyre of this type elsewhere and found it to be good after a test ride, I ordered a second one here. Also because the manufacturer's website advertises the oh-so-great puncture protection. Unfortunately, after putting the first tyre on, I got two punctures on gritted cycle paths. Puncture protection is close to zero. I didn't even fit the second tyre. Certainly good for perfectly asphalted paths without grit, but not a tyre for the city in winter.
5 / 5
Excellent product
Excellent grip on dry roads.
5 / 5
Outstanding tyre
I am completely satisfied with the product, this is the first time I have used it in size 30, you can't feel the difference in weight compared to the 28 I usually use but it is certainly very comfortable.
5 / 5
Great tyre
I am satisfied. The only weak point is that it wears out relatively quickly. After 4000 km, it was over for me. But I think that's ok, I didn't give the tyre anything. 25 mm, tubeless
5 / 5
Light, fast and so far no breakdowns.
With a few little tricks (a little soapy water and carefully using a jack for the last 40 cm), it can be mounted on the Zipp 404 TSS without any problems and without a compressor. It shouldn't be too easy either. With Stan's Tire Sealant also very well sealed. Driving with 4.4 bar rear and 4.1 bar front at 83kg like on rails. Rolling resistance is good! No punctures after 500km, although I didn't miss any stumps, stones or potholes on autumn cycle paths.
5 / 5
Nothing to criticise, just good.
Smooth tubeless mounting.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
A mega tyre that is second to none!
Super tyres. Mega grip! I've been riding this tyre model for a while now and don't know anything better. Especially in combination with tubeless tyres. This makes the tyre even faster, as it has less rolling resistance.
5 / 5
Highly recommended!
Very happy with these tyres, already the second set.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
If you buy this band you won't regret it!
Best tyre in its segment. Easy to fit, perfect handling and never had a puncture!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
The 5000 Conti✌ again and again.
Fitting the tyre was surprisingly easy. I drive it with 4 bar. Super cornering and smooth running.
5 / 5
Excellent tyre and really good value
Excellent tyre with really good grip , goes on easily and seals easily too plus with tan sidewalls it looks great
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Super fast and comfy road tyre
The best smoothest fastest ride for road at the best price, perfect and tubeless So happy with.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Does what a band should do! Bulge!
Tyre is easy to fit, bolts very well, prevents punctures.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Super comfort on the endurance bike
30' tubeless gives much more comfort, you do get them around the rim worse than the Schwalbe 1 variant. Especially if the sealant is already in there, it's a bit of a hassle.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Best value for money
Pleasant to ride, the 32mm offers comfort and reassurance without any loss of performance. We've ridden it on some good (but not always smooth) descents of mountain passes: Galibier, Sarenne, Roselend, etc. Measured at 32mm on a 19TC rim. Measured at 33mm on 24TSS rims.
5 / 5
Great riding tyres.
Fantastic tyres that I pair with Stans Race sealant for a puncture-free ride (double the recommended amount of sealant, top up monthly). These are the grippiest, most comfortable tyres out there for me.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Best tubeless tyre with great looks.
Brilliant tubeless tyres. Supple and fast, grip well and reasonably good puncture protection for a race tyre. I completed Strade Bianche on these with no issues at all. Only downsides are the cost and the fact they do wear quickly, but they are a racectyre after all
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Great tyre and excellent value.
The GP5000 S TR were originally on my new bike. I got excellent wear out of them and always had good grip on wet or dry surfaces. They lasted over 5000km with no punctures so I can't fault the quality of the product. The pricing from Mantel is very good so my purchase was top value for money.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Still the best all-rounder in the field!
The eierlegende Wollmilchsau of the road bike tires.
5 / 5
My go to bike store!
I have ordered for Mantel quite a few times and always had a good experience, delivery from Arnhem to the UK is quick with no customs hassles - just be careful of the total value - maybe split your order to keep under the threshold that would attract customs duty.
Pros & Cons

Ik koop enkel nog deze banden
Top bandjes, zowel bij droog als nat weer voldoende grip. Bij droog kan je best pishen ik de bochten, griplevel blijft hoog.

The Grail
Easy-to-fit tubeless tires with exceptional performance even at low pressure.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top band
With my previous tires, I notice an awful lot of difference how these tires absorb the vibrations. Really drives more comfortably without sacrificing speed.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
The best tyre you will ever need
Had these with the tan side walls and got all black this time round. Great tyre, super sticky and sealed enough punctures to keep me going. Great service from Mantel
Pros & Cons

Really good tires
They roll really well. The best rolling tires I have tried to date. Slightly better than its predecessor.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5

I have the 28 version on my race bike and love it; now the 32 version on my gravel!
Pros & Cons

Lovely tire, but (very) hard to get pressure in the rim.

Pros & Cons

Expensive but worth it
So much easier to mount tubeless than version 1 . Ride feel is just as good if not better . Excellent delivery from mantel
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top of the tree in they tyre world
It’s a fantastic tyre! The best, all my bikes run them
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Very fast tire with adequate puncture protection
The tire rolls very well and quickly on slippery roads. A flat tire I had unfortunately already with a tire and this I could then for a further trip also no longer patch. (Happened on a bike path; probably due to a small shard). Am not sure, however, whether a puncture-proof tire would have survived this.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Mantel makes a difference
After 1000 km, I am really satisfied. The product is reliable, has good grip and no breakage.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Molto Bene
The TR from continental an excellent tire.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Best tire - quality has its price
Have driven the previous model GP 5000 TL just under 8500 km and he would certainly have held another 2000 km or so. Now I have new wheels and matching again the GP 5000 STR. For me, one of the best tires. Smooth running, durable, low rolling resistance, and puncture-proof. Only the assembly is somewhat more complex, since the carcass is produced somewhat thicker-walled.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
For me the best tire
Can only report positive - super satisfied, great grip, rolls well and Pannensicher Can also be pulled up wonderfully and is immediately tight 10/10
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
First time with a tubeless set up so time will tell
Look good and rolling resistance seems good. Time will tell if they wear well
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Grippy and comfortable, great size, just over 30mm measured on 19mm hookless rim.
Grippy and comfortable, great size, just over 30mm measured on 19mm hookless rim. Easy to mount and hold air well
Pros & Cons

A reference
Easy mounting on a pair of Scope R5s, very good road feel at 5 bar ( S Works SL7 - 72kg )
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Comfortable tire with plenty of grip
For me, the GP5000 is the finest tire. Lots of grip and in 28mm lots of comfort. I noticed that this tubeless tire was especially hard to put around the rim, getting the second side into the rim was relatively easy.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
The eye wants something too
I have no idea yet how long this tire will last but at least it looks fat
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good for everything, 28mm is the new normal
Great tubeless tire that lasts a long time and is easy to install with a standard floor pump.
