The Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc road bike wheels for disc brakes are light, stiff and aerodynamic. The Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc wheels are designed to give every rider an improved tubeless riding experience. These wheels have a 45 mm U-shaped rim. Thanks to this U-shape, the wind has less effect on it and you can more easily maintain your speed. At Mavic they call this the NACA profile which is derived from the shape of a wing. The Mavic Instant Drive 360 body quickly grabs with a 9-degree engagement, allowing you to quickly get going again after a turn.
With an internal rim width of 19 mm you experience more comfort, grip and speed in combination with 25 mm or 28 mm Mavic Yksion Pro II UST tyres. Thanks to the UST tubeless technology, the Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon UST road bike wheels have less chance of punctures, lower rolling resistance and improved ride quality. The Mavic UST tubeless system has such a good connection between the rim and tyre that you can make it tubeless using just a normal bicycle pump.
With the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc wheels, Mavic has put an all-round wheel set on the market that you can actually use for anything. From flat paved roads to unpaved paths in the mountains.
(UST) Universal Tubeless Standard
The Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc road bike wheels can also be made tubeless thanks to the UST technology. This has many advantages such as reduced rolling resistance, more riding comfort and improved grip. The most important advantage of tubeless riding is that you can keep cycling when you have a puncture. The liquid latex fills the hole in the tyre within a few seconds.
Mavic Care
With Mavic Care you can extend the warranty to 3 years by registering your purchased wheelset within 30 days of purchase on the Mavic website. You also activate the possibility of crash replacement, which means you can get a 40% discount on a comparable product. You are eligible for this if your wheel can no longer be repaired after a fall or collision.
MyMavic app
Via the MyMavic app (available in the App Store and via Google Play) you can get advice about the correct tyre width and pressure, adjusted to your rim width and the surface of your choice.
The rim is also ready to ride without an inner tube. The tubeless tape is already pre-assembled. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort and also reduces inertia and punctures.

The instant drive 360 freewheel body system is super light and quickly engages with a 9-degree engagement. A large contactless rubber seal prevents friction, while a large number of options in end caps can be adapted to suit many mounting widths.
