Dynamic Hyper Wax

That means you can use it to wax your road bike chain for (ultra) long tours, but you can also use it for your gravel or mountain bike. Plus, this wax is biodegradable, which means it's a bit better for the environment than synthetic wax or oil.

Hyper Wax is the first biodegradable endurance hot wax. It provides a clean, butter-smooth and efficient drivetrain, while ensuring ultimate, long-term wear and tear protection. Suitable for road, gravel and MTB trail adventures, in all weather conditions. And to top it all off, the Hyper Wax is also less taxing for the environment!

Melt your Hyper Wax in a wax heater at 73 degrees Celsius. Make sure your drivetrain and chain are completely degreased and dry. Place the chain in the wax for at least 15 minutes, then slowly remove it from the wax and allow it to cool down completely. Move every chain link so it can move freely. Use a clean, dry microfibre cloth to remove any excess wax from the chain. Reinstall the chain onto your bike and you're ready to ride.

During the first 5 kilometres of cycling, excess wax is pressed out of the chain and the wax layer optimises itself. The wax flakes that come loose during this first ride can easily be removed with a clean cloth. Use a clean, dry cloth to clean the chain between waxes. Use a clean, dry brush to remove wax residue from other drive train components.

Reapply the wax when the chain sounds "dry", by repeating the steps above. A waxed chain can be cleaned and placed in liquid wax without any further degreasing.

After 10-15 reapplications, the wax should be replaced to prevent any contaminants in the wax from affecting the efficiency of the drivetrain or its wear and tear.

Please note: you have to heat up this Hyper Wax before you can dip your chain in it. We recommend purchasing a wax system that allows you to set a specific temperature.
