- 30 stands for the rim height. 30 mm high gives a slight improvement in aerodynamics and stiffness thanks to the shorter spokes.
- Thanks to the internal nipples and aero spokes, fewer air vortices are created in the wheel and you have lower drag.
- With the Pro Lock nipple system, your wheels maintain much better spoke tension for longer.
- The DT Swiss 370 hubs with ratchet body are easy to maintain and the rear wheel has fast engagement torque.
- Internal spoke nipples can be a little trickier to align if the wheels are made tubeless. But the wheels are perfectly pre-tensioned and therefore won't happen easily.

DT Swiss A1800 Spline 30 DB road bike wheels are a new addition to our DT Swiss range, an entry-level wheelset with aerodynamic properties! Thanks to the internal nipples and aero spokes, less air vortexes are created in the wheel and you have lower drag.
The DT Swiss A1800 SPLINE 30 DB aero rims are built around the durable and reliable DT Swiss 370 hubs. These hubs feature industrial bearings and a ratchet body that has a fast engagement torque.
The strong DT Aero Comp Wide straightpull spokes are held perfectly in place by the DT ProLock Squorx ProHead spoke nipples. These nipples are secured by an adhesive fluid, which ensures that spoke tension is maintained many times longer.

These wheels feature a tubeless ready rim that allows you to ride with tubeless outer tyres and latex. With this set-up, you'll minimise punctures. Should you still get a puncture, the latex will fill the hole within seconds. Other benefits of tubeless riding include lower rolling resistance, more comfort and better grip. Of course, it is still possible to fit your old-fashioned folding tyres with inner tubes.

Pro Lock is a process in which a patented 2-component adhesive fluid is injected into the nipple thread, enabling extremely durable wheel constructions. By turning the nipple on the spoke, the glue is activated and begins to harden. The wheel can still be adjusted after the glue has fully cured, with only a minimal decrease in locking function. As a result, your wheels maintain much better spoke tension for longer. This extends durability and proper spoke tension up to 20 times compared to wheels without Pro Lock nipples.

Great budget wheelset!

I bought these wheels as a road set for my gravel bike. They are very comfy and noticably faster. The wheels look very good on the bike. A wide variety of tire width options available.
