The CycleOps Magneto is the first magnetically operated turbo trainer with a progressive brake. This means that the harder you push on the pedals, the more resistance you experience. With a stand-alone Magneto turbo trainer you operate your gears like you would on the road. A heavier gear means you'll have to put down more power.
If cycling outside isn't an option, there's the Magneto to help you out. Care-free training without having to spend hours after every ride cleaning your bike and performing maintenance because of the horrid conditions outside.
