The CycleOps Magneto is the first magnetically operated turbo trainer with a progressive brake. This means that the harder you push on the pedals, the more resistance you experience. With a stand-alone Magneto turbo trainer you operate your gears like you would on the road. A heavier gear means you'll have to put down more power.
If cycling outside isn't an option, there's the Magneto to help you out. Care-free training without having to spend hours after every ride cleaning your bike and performing maintenance because of the horrid conditions outside. When the sun does come round again, you'll be fit and set for summer! Want to train with Zwift? Then all you'll need is an extra speed sensor.
