Description
Saddle shape
This saddle has a semi-round rear which makes it exceptionally suited for people who move their hips slightly while cycling. Because this is a semi-round saddle, it provides these cyclists with ample support while still ensuring enough freedom of movement compared to a flat saddle.
Flexibility
This is an S shape saddle, which means the saddle’s rear is higher and lower in the centre. This S shape enables people with a less flexible spine to still assume a sporty cycling posture. This is related to the pelvic tilt: someone with an inflexible spine has more difficulty tilting the pelvis.
Compatibility
• Length: 284 mm• Width: 140 mm
• Height: 52 mm

Great saddle
Fine saddle for the experienced cyclist. For a starter, it may be on the hard side. That you feel the nails (which I read somewhere) can only be if you cycle in your swimming trunks. The finish is just top notch.

Very nice saddle
Took a few kilometres to put in, but after that (for me) just as nice as a leather Brooks.

Comfortable from the first km
For my touring road bike I bought the saddle. He has the typical hammock in which you sit in. After the first ride still a little unaccustomed but without discomfort.

Beautiful and comfortable, with the added bonus of a reliable Mantel site!
I was looking for a comfortable saddle for a vintage 70s bike, but for ethical reasons I didn't want to use leather. This Broocks saddle is a great alternative, both for its looks and its comfort for sport/touring use.

Test your saddle at the local dealer...
I was not completely convinced about the saddle but since you are not allowed to return a saddle to Mantel I will keep it..... The saddle is quite hard but after some getting used to it, it is not that bad. If you buy a saddle, I would rather recommend testing and buying it in a shop.
