Folding tyre |
The Vredestein Superpasso TLR road bike tyre is a high-performance tubeless tyre for cyclists who are looking for speed, grip and a low weight. As the name Superpasso already suggests, this tyre is extremely suitable and reliable for use in the mountains. Especially if you've added latex sealant to the tyre. If your tyre gets punctured, the sealant will fill up the puncture within seconds. These tyres allow you to confidently steer into a hairpin bend. With its 150 TPI (threads per inch) carcass, this Vredestein Superpasso TLR tyre is flexible and has a low rolling resistance.
Like the folding tyres, these tubeless tyres were developed in cooperation with Frascoli Design, who are known for designing many motorbikes and scooters, including Piaggo, Vespa, Triumph and Yamaha. In addition, the Vredestein Superpasso tyre is perfectly balanced for different conditions. It's very suitable for spring and summer. The tyre performs best in dry conditions, but is also reliable enough in less than optimal weather conditions.

Tubeless ready
Tubeless Ready tyres allow you to ride with a lower tyre pressure, which gives you lower rolling resistance and better grip on any terrain. In addition, the Tubeless system is more lightweight and offers optimal protection against punctures when combined with liquid latex. If you're going tubeless, Vredestein recommends opting for the UST Tubeless rims for their ease of use.
TriComp Technology
Due to the limited contact area of road bike tyres, the composition of the rubber compound on both the tread and the sides of the tyre is extremely important. TriComp Technology makes it possible to apply a specific compound where it is most effective. The result is a road bike tyre with very low rolling resistance and maximum grip in all weather conditions.
