Radar love! Does what it needs to do at a very competitive price.

- Sebastiaan 13 December 2025

So far, exactly what I expected. It is more compact than expected and the build quality is top notch. After a few rides, very satisfied. No crazy things encountered and about 80-90% perfect reporting. An occasional false report due to another object or the low sun shining full on it. Overall just pleasantly surprised how sensitive the radar is, even if you are driving on a bike path next to a road it picks up the cars. On the side of your screen (Garmin), you can even see the number of cars by dots with the approximate distance between them. Also gives a notification for cyclists coming up behind.

Yes, but...

- Gijs 8 October 2025

Does what it should but there is definitely room for improvement. I get about 50% false positive reports. The L7 also struggles with a lot of traffic. Then it starts tuting my GPS a crazy, red-green-red-green.... When crossing another cyclist, I also get a notification every time. I miss an irregular flashing mode. Battery life is really good then. Hopefully software updates will solve the problems.

Pros & Cons

design
price
difficulty with multiple e-vehicles
lacks a few extra light modes
lots of false positives

Good, but...

- Gijs 1 October 2025

After my Magene radar failed, I went for this option. The price is very competitive. The radar does have trouble with several vehicles in a row. Then it beeps like crazy. Red-green-again red- ... I also get a lot of false positives, but maybe that will improve after updates. I also miss an irregular blinking pattern, currently I mostly use pulse mode.

Pros & Cons

Cheaper than other radars
Sleek design
brake function too sensitive
many false positives
