The Vision SC 40 road bike wheels are a nice addition to Vision's carbon road wheel range. The SC 40 version has a 40mm high carbon rim for all-round use. The SC 40 wheels are fantastic on both flat roads and hilly terrain. The Vision SC 40 carbon wheels have been developed using extensive wind tunnel testing and on the road with professional cyclists from Vision's sponsored teams. The wheels have an excellent balance between a low weight of 1550 grams, aerodynamics and comfort.
The Vision SC 40 full carbon rims are tubeless ready so you can ride with latex and tubeless tyres, without an inner tube. With a rim width of 19 mm, the rims are quite wide, which makes it possible to ride wide tyres on the SC 40s. The option to ride both tubeless and with wide tyres increases comfort, reduces the risk of punctures and also provides more grip and lower rolling resistance. The Vision hubs are of high quality and have maintenance-free sealed cartridge bearings. Vision has used flat, aerodynamic straight pull spokes. This benefits stiffness and speed. In addition, Vision wheels are hand-spoked and self-locking spoke nipples are used. As a result, the ideal spoke tension is maintained for a long time. Quality guaranteed!
