Description

Description

The Velotoze Toe Covers are specifically made to keep cyclists' feet warm on cold and/or foggy mornings. They are flexible, lightweight, aerodynamic and both wind- and waterproof.

Technology

The Velotoze Toe Covers offer the following features.

Water-resistant & windproof
These toe covers are made of a water-resistant material for good protection against fog, mist and road spray. They are also windproof to help keep your feet warm in temperatures between 10 and 18°C.

Lightweight, aerodynamic and easy to store
At less than 25 grams per pair, the Velotoze Toe Covers are super lightweight. The smooth, flexibele material creates a snug fit and good aerodynamics. These toe covers are easy to remove and fold into a compact size. As such, they are easy to carry in a back pocket of your cycling jersey or in a saddle bag.

User tips

The following instructions apply to the Velotoze Toe Cover.

How to put them on.
1. Put on your sock and shoe.
2. Pull Velotoze Toe Cover over the toe of the shoe. Make sure it does not get stuck on your cleats.
3. Make sure no part of the toe cover covers the cleats.

Maintenance instructions
- To clean them, wipe them with a cool, wet cloth.
- Dry them by hanging them on a hanger or ledge, or wipe them with a dry cloth. The material does not absorb water, so they should dry quickly. Do not put them in a washing machine or dryer.
- After repeated use, apply talcum powder or baby powder to the inside to prevent sticking.

2 / 5

good idea but not entirely concrete

- Federico 4 June 2021

would be fine, but it has torn at the bottom under the tip already on the second outing. after tearing, if you don't remove it, it stays put, but once removed you can throw it away

Pros & Cons

protects the toe well at the top
torn underneath

2 / 5

Great potential but too vulnerable

- Boy 7 April 2021

Potentially a super solution. Bottom side unfortunately too fragile so I can throw away both covers after 1 time

Pros & Cons

Functional (water density where needed)
Handy
Vulnerable

1 / 5

Very fragile. Broken after 1 ride.

- Hielke 25 January 2021

After as little as 1 ride already. Too bad Mantel sells this. As long as you cycle it works, but don't expect to be able to dismount... because then the swim cap can hit the ground and the (very thin) neoprene tears right away. Very disappointing. Tip: spend a few euros more on reinforced toe overshoes.

Pros & Cons

cheap
cracks quickly
very fragile
