The Trek Domane AL 3 Disc is a very nice, versatile beginners road bike that you can enjoy cycling with for years.
The frame of the Domane AL 3 Disc is made of lightweight aluminum and the sitting position is aimed at comfort. This makes it easier to get used to the road bike position and you can also easily ride longer distances. The carbon Isospeed front fork provides vibration damping, so you can also drive on less smooth road surfaces. The frame is also neatly finished with completely internal cable routing.
Reliable Shimano equipment
The shifters and derailleurs on the Domano AL3 Disc are from Shimano Sora. This groupset uses the same technology as the highest Shimano groups and therefore shifts excellently. With 2x9 gears you can always find the right gear, even if you have to climb a lot. So the Domane is perfect for a holiday in the mountains. The rest of the parts are Bontrager and are the same as on much more expensive road bikes. This gives you surprisingly good performance at this price point. In addition, the disc brakes offer a lot of braking power, even in wet conditions and or on long descents.
Versatile
The frame also includes weld points for mudguards and a rear rack. That makes this Domane AL 3 Disc extra versatile and suitable for commuting and/or short cycling holidays.

I have had this bike for about three weeks now. I wanted a bike that I could ride fast, but that I could also take with me when I go camping. Because I can mount a rear rack on it, it is very easy. It only takes 5 minutes to get the rack on and off. The bike itself rides well. The disc brakes are ideal. Mantel was able to deliver quickly (within a day) and was delivered by a friendly delivery man. Looking forward to touring this summer on my beautiful bike!
