Safe and secure mounting
The raised platform keeps the car's license plate and lights clearly visible. Also, both the bikes and the carrier are protected against theft thanks to the included locks. Furthermore, the OutWay Platform bike rack is easy to attach and secure with steel cables.
No scratches on the bikes or the car's paintwork
The adjustable and removable arms that clamp the bike frame to the carrier have AcuTight knobs that click upon reaching optimal torque so that you don't continue to turn and damage the bike frame. The rack's mounting system also takes the car itself into consideration: all attachment points have protective rubber pads to prevent damage to the car and also absorb shocks. Everything for a safe and enjoyable ride!

Just a really good thing.
This is just an incredibly good thing, perhaps the best in its class. No messing around with straps and other wobbly things, just a solid and rock-solid attachment. Putting the carrier on the car does require some attention. It is heavy and must be clamped precisely between the bottom and top of the boot lid, and on the lower part of the rear window. Be careful not to damage anything.

Excellent buying experience, very good product
First of all I have to say that it was the best experience I have ever had with customer service. I received the first item and it was faulty. Returning the product was quick and easy and the customer service was amazing. In less than three weeks I received the first package, returned it, and received the replacement package. As for the Thule Outway Platoform, I had a chance to try it out for a trip of about 2 hours and it was great. It takes me about 30-40 minutes to fit the bike rack and the bikes and then I'm ready to go.
