The Thule 9708 HangOn is a flexible, tiltable car bike rack that can carry up to 4 bikes. The carrier tilts back for full access to the car's trunk without having to take your bikes off the carrier. The rubber coated frame clamp keeps every bike firmly in place and protects its frame against scratches. The reflecting material on the end caps increases safety in the traffic. The straps for securing the bike(s) are included in the delivery. The HangOn is very flat when folded, and compact enough to keep in the car's boot or easily store elsewhere.
The HangOn cannot be used to transport bikes with a non-standard frame, e.g. low-entry (or women's) bikes, BMX bikes, and some mountain bikes.

Voor de Thule HangOn 4 9708 wordt de Thule Lightboard 976 bevestigd met de meegeleverde spanriemen. Deze worden stevig rondom het frame van de fietsendrager bevestigd. Een aparte adapter is voor dit model niet nodig. De montage is eenvoudig en zorgt ervoor dat de verlichting en kentekenplaat goed zichtbaar blijven wanneer fietsen de achterzijde van de auto bedekken. Let op: De auto dient te zijn uitgerust met een 7- of 13-polige stekkerdoos om de lichtbalk aan te sluiten. Heb je een 13-polige aansluiting en een 7-polige stekker (of andersom), dan is een verloopadapter nodig.
