Comfortable frame
In the frame of this electric bike, the focus is on comfort. Powerful pedal assistance
At the heart of this electric city bike is the Bosch Active Line Plus mid-drive motor. This motor has a torque of 50 Nm, allowing you to cycle smoothly at all times, even on hilly terrain. The main advantage of a mid-drive motor is that the pedal assistance feels natural and stable. For this bike, Sparta offers a choice between three batteries. With the 300 Wh version you can cover 50 km effortlessly. With the 400 Wh battery you can cycle up to 65 km. And with the 500 Wh version, you can ride up to 80 km before needing to recharge the battery. The motor is controlled via the Bosch Intuvia display, which shows the main ride data. The Intuvia display is easy to operate and does not require you take your hands off the handlebars.

Shifting and braking
Sparta has opted for a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub. These gears provide a gearing range of 307%, allowing you to cycle smoothly on flat as well as hilly terrain. For braking, the a-Shine uses Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. These disc brakes produce an enormous amount of braking power, and let you come to a safe and timely stop even in bad weather conditions.

Other parts
This Sparta electric bike comes with a kickstand and a lock for safe and secure parking. If you want to ride in the dark, you needn't worry about safety because the lights make you highly visible to other traffic users. And if you want to transport things on your bike, you can absolutely do so because the luggage rack is MIK compatible, so a child seat or other accessories can be attached easily.
