Sidi Trace 2 W MTB Shoes

The Sidi Trace 2 W mountain bike shoe is slightly improved compared to its predecessor. Not only does it look sleeker, the 2 straps on the shoe have changed as well. These have been made slimmer for a better adjustment of the shoe. These straps in combination with the Tecno-3 dial system make sure that you can adjust the shoe to the shape of your foot without getting pressure points. Because this shoe is actually designed for women's feet, the shoes are slightly tapered at the front. Additionally, the shoe is narrower at the ball of the foot and has a smaller heel cup. This makes the shoe feel comfortable and fits better than an unisex shoe.

The MTB SR17 sole used for the Sidi Trace 2 W cycling shoe is a sole made of a mix of carbon and nylon. This makes the sole very stiff without sacrificing comfort and ideal for the avid cyclist.

MTB SR17 Carbon sole
This sole is made of carbon and is reinforced with nylon. It offers great grip in rough conditions and also provides more security when clicking into the pedals. The MTB SR17 Carbon sole has the right balance between stiffness and suppleness, giving you more stability and better power transmission.

Tecno-3 system
The Tecno-3 mechanism allows you to close the shoe over its entire length, adapting it to the shape of your foot and providing an individual fit. The reliable and completely replaceable closure has been improved with a new thread which makes the system even faster and easier to adjust.

Sidi heel
The reinforced heel keeps the foot in an optimal position and prevents the shoe from being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.

High security Velcro closure
In this Velcro fastener there are plastic teeth that interlock when the belt is closed. This makes the fastener safer and the strap becomes fixed.

In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.

You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
