Lightweight aluminium frame
The core of the Scott Active is its lightweight aluminium frame. A lightweight frame makes for stable and responsive handling, and allows you to take corners at a good speed. The cables of this MTB run through the frame, where they are well protected against dirt and precipitation. For some extra comfort you have access to a Suntour suspension fork with 100 mm of travel. It smoothens the biggest bumps in the road well. On the frame a Syncros Savona saddle is mounted, which has been specifically designed for women. All in all, with this frame you can race over the tracks while feeling comfortable.

Reliable components
The Contessa Active has 16 Shimano gears. These are a common feature on mountain bikes for those new to the sport. The 11-34 cassette gives you a large gearing range, so when you come across a hill you can climb it in your preferred gears. For braking the Contessa has Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. Disc brakes are known for their excellent stopping power in good as well as bad weather conditions. They are also easy to modulate, allowing you to steer into the bends with great precision.
