Smooth, but not completely silent.

My first upgrade kit and easy to get started with. Gives a more realistic feel in Zwift, although it is a bit noisy and the remote sometimes messes with the connection. Overall very happy!

Prevents premature wear and tear on your bike when it's only a home trainer

Buy the loose click, keep your cassette

- Niels, 28 August, 2025

Bought to easily switch bikes on the Wahoo Kickr Core. Virtual shifting is nice. The cog itself is fairly cheap plastic and despite description quite loud. Clearly louder than the Shimano 11-speed cassette it replaced. Replaced it back after a while and it's much better. Only the click is still in use.

Pros & Cons

Virtual shifting is top notch
Noisy

Absolutely recommendable

The Zwift Cog & Click V2 Upgrade Kit is a useful extension for any supported smart home trainer. It is extremely quiet due to the absence of a cassette. Even the short "idle" when shifting is simulated. Unfortunately, it is not possible to shift gears with the Cog on my Sram triggers; instead, I have to use the Click. But I'm happy to accept that to prevent my cassette from wearing out. It's also worth mentioning that you can easily adjust the skew of the chain on the Cog V2 yourself. All in all - top
