Cheap turns out to be expensive

- Remko, 15 April, 2025

I was very happy with the straps! Being Mantel's choice, I took these. The price was also interesting. Unfortunately, six months later I now have a problem and already have to buy new ones. Ridden at most 1000 km with them and now replaced because of cracks and holes. Compliments that Mantel gave me a discount voucher! Although you don't buy much with it for 15 euros; for Mantel there is also nothing to do with it because it is a wear part. This has only losers.

Pros & Cons

Beautiful appearance
Lots of traction
not durable
poor quality

Tyre deviates too much in the specified dimension

- Anders, 12 December, 2024

Buying 2 tyres 32-622 (700x32C) and the tyres differ in size from each other. One tyre measures 31.5 mm in width and the other 30 mm. This also affects the wheel circumference which is not the same. Poor quality control by Vredestein I think. It remains to be seen how the tyre behaves on the road in grip and rolling resistance.

Excellent grip and rolling at a good price

- Paco, 27 August, 2024

After years of using the senso, they came out with the same puncture resistance and grip but better rolling. They are my third and I am very happy with them. They have been lasting me between 8000 and 10000 kilometres and I change them more for some cuts as the wear indicators (probably because of my weight) still look good. Very reliable grip with the senso and with this one. I tried another brand and had a few skidding scares. Quite easy to change with your hands if you bring it to the centre of the rim on both sides.

Super tyres that live up to their name

- Jos, 15 May, 2024

These tyres are, as the name suggests, super! Upon fitting, you immediately noticed how easy the tyres are to fit: I got the tyres on my Scope rims easily, without tyre help. In addition, the tyres have very good grip, without sacrificing rolling resistance. You can cut every corner with speed and confidence, and they take their speed well. The only downside is that the tyres are not black, but dark grey. This makes them look just a little less sleek under my bike

Pros & Cons

Easy to assemble
High grip

Good grip, rolling and puncture resistance

- Paco, 20 May, 2023

I had been using the senso and was very happy. This is a brand new one, improving a bit the rolling without losing grip or puncture resistance. Very happy

Pros & Cons

Good grip
Good rolling

Totally fine

- Niels, 4 May, 2023

Fine good rolling tire. On my mavic aksium rims the tire falls narrow. I first had a schwalbe one 28 mm which was 30 mm. That's why I ordered a 28 but it was narrower. Now I mounted the 32 which measures 29 mm. I would also like to fit these tires with super lite latex tubes from vredestein. But I can't find these anywhere

Pros & Cons

Bolts and rolls well
Easy to assemble
Performance vs. Price
Watch out for your width
