Easy attachment but no water-repellent fabric there is a separate cover with it

Works well, satisfied with it. Been on the road for two days, dry even in rain. Compression inner sleeve works perfectly. Also 6L everything with it. Clothes, slippers, extra cycling clothes, plenty of room. Does quiver a bit, not too bad and only preventable with alu tube.

A handlebar bag, or a saddle bag after all? using Mantel's decision aid, I ended up with the Topeak Backloader, the 6l seems big enough to replace my rucksack for sandwiches, fruit and other commuting equipment. The first ride was top, the 2nd wet and then it turns out it doesn't act as a mudguard, so I snapped my plate under it and the 3rd ride was top and wet.

It takes some puzzling how best to fill the bag so that it can be mounted as securely as possible under the saddle. It is not clear to me whether you have to mount the bag first and then fill it or vice versa.

Cycled with it in the Alps on the French south coast. Did not test it in the rain. Good bag with lots of storage space and stays in place / does not sag due to the clamps on the straps. Only thing not ideal is that it sometimes squeaks at the seat tube. Especially when climbing. That stops if you pull it really tight, but it doesn't stay on all the time. Ultimately not super annoying but a point of interest.

Have now made three rides of 100+ km and 1,000+ hms stops along hotels and B&Bs with it and the value for money is really great!

Used on a 2-day bivouac mountain bike tour on very rough trails, the pannier held on well without coming off. On the other hand, I couldn't put it on the 26" size S mountain bike because it rubbed on the wheel.

Fine bag if you want to take some regular clothes for 1 night. However, if you want to have room for jacket and shoes as well, you better take the 15 L.

Bought for longer solo trips in winter, to still carry some extra in case of emergency. Perfect size for this and definitely not annoying

Bought for 1st bikepack ride to Brabant (225 km round trip). Felt good. Best to pack first and then hang on bike. Is then better packed so more stable. Separate bag is handy.

Used on cycling vacation with my daughter, who had borrowed an AGU saddlebag. That way we could compare them nicely. The Toploader has 1 kitten strap with which you attach it to your seat post. The AGU had two, which is less suitable if your saddle is a bit low, like my daughter's. So I cycled with the AGU, my daughter with the Toploader. The AGU had a strap on top to pull it up extra; the Toploader did not. But the latter can be vacuum packed again, efficient!

The biggest advantage is the waterproof removable pocket where you can take out excess air. I have size M and you hardly feel it while cycling. Only swab the end when cycling standing up. A friend who was on cycling vacation with me had another bag that swabbed significantly less, so it is possible to find less swabbing backloaders.

It has been a pleasure using the product but since I am a bit shorter(165), I can not fill the bag otherwise it touches the wheel. If I keep it light, works perfectly.

A very good bag. It holds a lot and is made of sturdy material. It can be easily attached to the saddle and seat post. You can also take it out in the rain but you can take less stuff with you because the waterproof bag you put in it has less volume capacity than the bag itself. Another small disadvantage is that you cannot cycle standing up, the bag will swing back and forth too much. Other than that, for this price, it really is a super bag!
