Fantastic Giro quality, lightweight with integrated smoked shield makes this a cracking choice if you're after cool looks and an aero package.

Helmet fitting system is excellent giving comfortable fit over all of head. I don't think I will ever confirm its aero credentials however compared to traditional well ventilated helmet the noise levels are greatly reduced. The visor is very good but not sure how easy it will be to flip up in winter with heavier gloves but I feel this a minor issue

Ideal for someone who wears glasses and does not want to keep switching from glasses to sun glasses

I purchased the Attack shield primarily for triathlon use. However as they say 'never use anything in competition that you haven't tried in training'.....So out for a 60km training ride. the weather was mild, and sunny and the Giro fitted comfortably. In training, at aerobic speeds (around 30 to 40km per hr) the helmet was as advertised, 'light, comfortable and cool'. On descents when the speed went up to around 50km per hr, it was very noticeable that the Air Attack Shield was more stable, quieter, and cooled more efficiently than expected. The shield is a little fiddly to use with full gloves, due to a lack of 'feel', but with the normal 'fingerless' type you can feel the shield, and position it on the magnets easily. By tilting the helmet and shield combination back a little on your head, you can wipe sweat from your eyes and brow easily (something you can't do with sunglasses on. I am really pleased and happy with the product, and would definitely recommend to those seeking an aero helmet thats not too extreme in style.

I had been toying with the idea of the Time Attack for a while and when I finally pushed the button I was not disappointed, whether or not I'm faster I have no idea but I feel it and, hopefully, look it! Surprisingly cool given its styling, all in all a great helmet and the removal shield is ideal for training rides.

Another great giro product.. The air attack shield is light, easy to adjust so fit is great,looks good especially with the shield on but most importantly it's aero. Awesome!!
