According to the product specialist
Pros
The aluminium frame provides a good balance between stiffness and weight for great handling.
With a generous 18-speed system, the Avanti hybrid bike allows for easy shifting to the right gears.
The Tektro V-brakes provide powerful braking action in dry conditions and are economical to maintain.
Thanks to the sturdy kickstand, you can stably park the bike anywhere.
The adjustable stem makes it easy to customise your sitting position for more comfort.
The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes brake powerfully and reliably in dry as well as wet conditions.
Rigid and stable frame made of lightweight aluminium ensures crisp handling.
Suspension fork and 44 mm wide tyres know how to cushion most bumps.
Wide gear range thanks to Shimano derailleurs with as many as 27 gears.
Hydraulic disc brakes ensure powerful braking performance in all conditions.
The suspension fork dampens bumps on dirt roads for extra comfort.
The cassette with 11 to 45 teeth allows you to keep pedalling smoothly and comfortably on hilly terrain.
The integrated luggage rack offers extra stability when transporting heavy bags, which is nice for commuting and cycling holidays.
Cons
V-brakes are less effective in wet conditions but have the advantage of being easy and cheap to maintain.
As there is no suspension in the seatpost, there is also less cushioning on rough roads, but the comfortable saddle partly compensates for this.
The bike has "only" eight gears but these are cleverly chosen and offer a great range for touring.
No lock is supplied with this Cube Touring. See “Frequently Asked Customer Questions” for suitable ring locks
The bike does not come with a lock.
There is no suspension in the rear frame, which makes cycling on really rough surfaces less comfortable but the tyres partly compensate for this.
No lock is included with this Cube Kathmandu. See “Frequently Asked Customer Questions” for suitable ring locks
