Designed to be fast. The Maxxis Thread Lite EXO / TR tyre has a flat surface on the thread to reduce rolling resistance. The side studs offer grip in the corners. The 120 TPI tubeless ready sidewalls offer a comfortable and durable ride.
EXO Protection
Material that is cut-resitant and extremely durable added to the sidewalls. This densely woven fabric is lightweight and highly flexible, so the performance standard is unaffected. Choose EXO tyres for rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres provide many advantages: it allows the rider to ride with a lower air pressure that improves grip and traction, it has a lower rolling resistance compared to a clincher tyre and less chance of flat tyres by punctures or snake bites. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres have the benefits of a UST tubeless tyre without adding weight.
