Perfect for endurance sports and high-intensity exercise
The 2:1 glucose/fructose ratio gives you up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour, making it the perfect drink for high-intensity exercise! Drink Mix 320 and Drink Mix 320 CAF 100 each contain 80 grams of carbohydrates per 500 ml; Drink Mix 160 contains 40 grams of carbohydrates per 500 ml. For the best result, mix the full content of one sachet with 500ml of water. This sports drink contains no added flavourings, colourings or preservatives.
With or without caffeine?
Maurten Drink Mix is available with or without added caffeine. If you opt for caffeine, then you get about 1.5 cups of caffeine per 500ml bottle! Because of the incorporated hydrogels, the bitter taste of caffeine is greatly reduced. So if are you looking for that extra boost during your bike ride, opt for the caffeinated Drink Mix.
Maurten Hydrogel Technology
Maurten uses its own innovative hydrogel technology to make sports drinks even more effective. This means that natural thickening agents (seaweed and fruit fibres) are added which are activated in the stomach, so you won't notice anything while drinking. The drink forms a hydrogel in the stomach that can be easily transported through the body and absorbed more efficiently. This decreases the chance of stomach complaints, which may well occur with traditional sports drinks. So, with this sports drink you can get up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour!

Very solid product with good tolerance.
Super drink during the run. Note that the water used for mixing should have less than 40mg calcium/litre.

Ideal drink to take before an intense run.
I am thrilled. Great to take before a long run. No more gastrointestinal distress, no burping, no diarrhoea. And it's a nice, slightly thick drink that doesn't feel heavy in the stomach when you start running straight away. It's just a pity that there is no storage can with a spoon. So it's more sustainable.

Has pleased me very well during my 300 km ride to the Champagne region. Easy to make and drinks very smoothly due to neutral taste. However, always use 500 ml of water or the product will not dissolve completely.

Technically a top-notch product that lives up to what it indicates.
I used it during a long trail (43km). It was the first hot day of the year and due to organizational circumstances I could only drink 1 liter every 2 hours. I drank about 250ml every 5km (on a 21km lap) Still, it was sufficient in terms of necessary energy delivery. So the product does what it describes. Personally, I do find it sticks in the mouth after a while, dissolving it in water also takes a bit more effort. It is slightly more syrupy than most products but of course that has to do with the high carbohydrate count. The taste could be a little nicer in my opinion.

I like to carry a swift with the drink mix, very comfortable, if you want to take a gel you can sip it .... or carry a bottle on the bike.
