Description
Description
The Magura 8.P Performance brakes are suitable for Magura's MT5 and MT7 4-piston calipers. The brake pads on these are designed to deliver maximum braking performance whatever the conditions.
Made from organic material for the greatest possible braking power
Organic brake pads are made up of soft materials. As such, these brake pads give excellent controllability and braking power. Due to the soft compound, this pad also grips quickly. In addition, the organic compound ensures that these brake pads make little noise while driving.
The disadvantage of organic brake pads is that they are less able to withstand higher temperatures that can occur during long descents, for example. Also, organic brake pads wear harder if you ride a lot in muddy conditions.
In short, if you use the bike mainly in the summer, these organic brake pads are the perfect choice. However, if you use the bike mainly in winter, or if you regularly go to hilly/mountainous areas, then it is better to opt for Semi-Metallic brake pads.

It is essential that you break in your brake pads after fitting them. This has many benefits. Breaking in the pads makes them last longer, brake better and squeak less.Reviews
