The Lapierre Prorace's lightweight aluminium frame looks beautiful, especially in the stylish grey colour. The sophisticated and modern geometry provides good handling and a nice mix between a comfortable and sporty riding position. The Suntour Raidon Air fork has 100 mm of suspension travel and has remote lockout on the handlebars. So, the frame and the fork form an excellent basis for this bike.
Reliable drivetrain
Leave your friends (and rivals) behind with the fine Shimano Deore 12-speed groupset. With the 10-51t cassette you'll always have enough gears. Together with the 32-tooth crankset, you'll always find the right gear. And no matter which gear you select, you will always be able to shift quickly.
Good brakes modulation
The Lapierre Prorace 3.9 has very nice brakes. The Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes have 180mm front and 160mm rear discs, and provide plenty of control and stopping power so you can safely take on a challenging descent.

Sharply priced MTB with excellent specifications. Highly recommended!
Since my old MTB was at the end of its life, I started looking for a worthy successor. At Mantel, I came across this Lapierre Prorace. Lapierre may not be a well-known name in the Netherlands but I was positively surprised by the great specifications offered for this price and decided to go and see it in Arnhem and test ride it. I was impressed and decided to make the purchase. Especially now with the Outlet price, you get a lot of bike for relatively little money. I've used it a few times now and I really like the bike. For me, its stability definitely stands out. The MTB also offers me an excellent sitting position. As a possible disadvantage, I mention that it is an older model. Anyway, the equipment is certainly still up to date. For the first time, I now have one with one front blade and I like that too
