For all brands, the following applies: if your helmet gets damaged within 2 years of purchase and is no longer safe (cracks or fractures in the foam), we offer the option to replace the damaged helmet. You will receive a discount equal to 40% of the purchase value of your old bicycle helmet. The 2-year period applies from the purchase date of the helmet. The Giro Syntax MIPS is equipped with multiple features in a sleek and aesthetic design. This all-round cycling helmet consists of a so-called In-Mold build which combines a polycarbonate outer shell with a shock-absorbing foam lining on the inside. The MIPS system makes this helmet extra safe! Thanks to Giro’s Roc Loc 5 Air MIPS system you can adjust the fit so that you barely feel the helmet. The pads are antibacterial and provide a cooling effect. The Syntax MIPS helmet has high breathability due to its Wind Tunnel ventilation, which combines active vents with internal ducts to improve ventilation.
MIPS System
The MIPS System consists of a low friction middle layer between the EPS lining and the padding, which has elastic fittings. This allows the helmet to move slightly (shift and rotate) relative to the head, which absorbs the lateral and rotational forces that occur during a crash. In contrast, a non-MIPS helmet only absorbs shock with its EPS lining.
In-Mold Construction
The In-Mold Construction combines a sturdy polycarbonate outer shell with a shock-absorbing foam lining on the inside. Due to the fusing process it’s possible to create an efficient ventilation system, which allows the In-Mold helmets to be lighter and more cooling than traditional helmets.

With Roc Loc 5 Air you can change the fit tension and vertical position with one hand. Fine helmet with good fit

In a fall, my previous Syntax was damaged. Since that helmet was excellent, I ordered a new Syntax without hesitation and it too is pleasant. And nice that mantle offers a lowest price guarantee. Saved again....
