Meets the needs of parents and kids
The Gazelle Makki Load was designed with the needs and wants of both parents and children in mind. Firstly, the cargo box has high walls to keep your children extra safe. As the kids want to be able to get into the box easily, a low step-through entry has been created with a recess for their foot below it. In the cargo box is a rear bench on which two children can sit comfortably. Of course, there are straps for each child. This way, mum and dad are happy about safety and the kids are happy about their nice seat.

Powerful e-bike technology
The motor, battery, cargo box and control components are all neatly integrated into the frame. This makes this family bike strong and stable. However, the robust frame and sturdy cargo box do make the Makki a quite heavy cargo bike that needs a powerful motor to get up to speed quickly. With the 65 Nm Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor, it provides plenty of torque to move the total weight of up to 250 kg forward. The 500 Wh battery makes for a great range, so you can easily take the whole family out for a day trip.

Equipped for heavy loads
Not every type of gearing system is suitable for a powerful electric cargo bike. But the Enviolo Cargo internal hub gear system is perfect for it. This hub can easily handle heavy loads and has a stepless shift system to ensure you can always ride at your preferred cadence. Furthermore, the Makki family bike has hydraulic disc brakes for high braking power and, therefore, increased safety.

Lots of handy accessories
The Gazelle Makki Load electric cargo bike comes with all sorts of handy accessories, such as a double kickstand that you can use for stable parking and fold while sitting in the saddle. The Makki also comes with a rear luggage rack, good lights and a bell. So, this is a very complete family bike that allows you to participate in traffic comfortably.

What's the difference between a 'normal' Gazelle e-bike and a Connect model?
With the Gazelle Connect module, you can always see the location of your e-bike and protect it from theft. This built-in GPS module in Gazelle Connect bikes ensures your e-bike is always traceable via the Gazelle Connect app. This allows you to easily see on a map where your e-bike is located. Moreover, you can activate theft protection via the app, which alerts you to unexpected movements of your e-bike. If your e-bike is stolen, you report it immediately via the app, after which a detection team springs into action to find your bike. If the bike is not recovered, you will receive an appropriate proposal from the insurer, possibly resulting in (part of) the new price or a new e-bike.
