One bike that can transport yourself as well as two children and groceries and that does not require too much pedalling effort - for many mums and dads, this sounds like an ideal combination. So why not consider the Gazelle Bloom C7 HMS? Its low, wide entry makes it easy to get on and off the bike, even with a child seat on it. Because of the wide entry, the wheelbase is a little longer, making steering slightly less direct, which may be considered a positive characteristic because it makes this family e-bike feel very stable.
Shimano STEPS system for well-balanced power transfer
The beating heart of this Gazelle Bloom e-bike is the Shimano STEPS E5000 mid-drive motor. It is an ideal motor for a family bike because the power torque increases gradually so you don't have any sudden, possibly unpredictable acceleration. At the same time, the motor has enough power to get you across the city smoothly, even if the bike is fully loaded. As you can choose between battery capacities, it is up to you to decide how much you want to spend and what range you need. Please note that the smallest option (418 Wh) already offers an impressive range of up to 140 kilometres, so you will have little to complain about no matter what you choose!
Cycling fun and safety for the whole family
With a family bike, safety is the top priority. To this end, this electric bike has high-quality lights and brakes. The hydraulic disc brakes have great stopping power and work equally well in all conditions, making the Bloom C7 HMS a safe choice. It is also equipped with a double kickstand and a handlebar tilt lock, allowing you to park the bike in a steady position, get off and remove your child from the front seat without any risk of the bike tipping over. This stability makes the Bloom not only a good family bike but also an ideal choice as a city bike that can be used for shopping and much more.
The Gazelle Bloom C7 HMS electric family bike is perfectly designed to transport one or two children. From the geometry of the frame to the choice of the motor, everything has been duly considered to ensure that you can enjoy every family ride safely and comfortably.

Fine bike that more than met our expectations
The battery lasts longer than expected and the bike is also a piece of quality. The saddle is indeed a bit firm, but for an extra €45 you can upgrade it.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Nice bike with excellent range
Beautiful bike satisfied with it apart from some issues. These have since been fixed. Gears were not properly adjusted so it skipped between 4-7, resulting in a broken cable. Nicely fixed by Mantel. Also, the cable to the computer was loose, which I fixed myself. Other than that, the bike is great now, I really appreciate the range, and more importantly, the little man loves the front seat.

Poor display and seller does not acknowledge it
Within 2 years, the display has already broken twice. Mantel will fix it, but when the warranty period is over you get to figure it out yourself. Worthless service.

Beautiful, sturdy, somewhat heavy electric mother's bike
After a long search for an electric mother's bike (the choice is not vast) glad I went for this one.

Good service only could have also named the downside(s) of the bike.
Everything went to plan, only they could have also named the downsides of that model and possibly recommended another product so I could have compared.
