Extremely comfortable

Comfortable in the saddle
The basis of the Gazelle Avignon is the sleek aluminium frame. This frame has a low-entry frame, providing great comfort and direct steering. The cables are integrated into the frame, so they are well protected from precipitation or other dirt. The riding position on this electric city bike is upright, so you are still comfortable in the saddle even after a long day. Moreover, you have the option to personalise the riding position even further thanks to the adjustable stem. The front fork on the Avignon features headset suspension, which dampens light shocks. The seat post also has suspension, offering extra protection to your lower back. The tyres on this bike are 55 mm wide, pleasant on practically any surface.

E-bike technology
The electric support on the Gazelle comes from the Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor. This mid-drive motor has a torque of 75Nm, which ensures that you will be able to cope even in hilly terrain. The motor uses three different sensors that provide natural and smooth support. The battery on this electric bike has access to 625Wh of power. This gives you a range of at least 100 kilometres, making the Avignon also excellent for use as a touring bike. You control the motor using the Bosch Intuvia display. This display shows all basic ride data well, and can also be operated without taking your hands off the leather grips.
Finally, the quiet and low-maintenance Gates belt provides good power transfer.

Shifting and braking
This electric bike comes with a stepless Enviolo hub, which has an infinite amount of gears with a very wide range. The hydraulic disc brakes that are found on this bike are from Magura. They deliver excellent braking performance, even in poor conditions. Moreover, they are easy to dose, so you can steer into every corner with confidence.
