The Fulcrum WIND 57 DB wheelset gives you an optimal balance between speed on regular roads and stability on light dirt roads. While the high rim profile (57 mm) reduces drag significantly, the wide inner rim size increases agility and responsiveness. This gives you a very smooth and efficient ride both at high speeds and on gravel stretches!

At the heart of this wheelset is the sturdy Full Carbon FF80 construction with a matt resin finish. This specific carbon fibre lay-up makes the high rim both stiff and relatively light, ensuring efficient power transfer from the pedals. The aerodynamic rims are 57 mm high and have a 23 mm inner width, and thanks to Wide Rim Tech they optimally support tyres and create a tight transition between tyre and rim wall for minimal drag. The undrilled rim bed, enabled by MoMag technology, makes the rim base completely closed, eliminating the need for tubeless tape and allowing for extremely safe and fast airtight mounting of tubeless tyres.

Finishes and details
Besides the high carbon rims, this system features several technological details that increase reliability and rigidity. With a total weight of 1585 grams, the WIND wheelset forms a solid and responsive foundation. Each wheel is constructed with 24 round, double-butted stainless steel spokes. The integrated Anti-Rotation System secures these straight-pull spokes and keeps them in the most efficient position at all times. Also, DRSC technology (Directionated Rim-Spoke Coupling) ensures perfect alignment between rim and spokes, distributing forces evenly. At the centre of the wheels are aluminium hubs with low flanges and with sealed and adjustable bearings. These industrial bearings guarantee permanently smooth rotation, and self-locking aluminium nipples allow for lasting safe tension.

Compatibility and fit
Classified under ASTM category 2, this 28-inch wheelset is suitable for use on paved and light dirt roads. The 23 mm inner rim width is compatible with tyre widths ranging from 25 to even 69 mm! For mounting, the front wheel uses a standard 12x100 mm thru-axle and the rear wheel a 12x142 mm one. The wheelset supports a maximum system weight of 120 kg and is available with XDR, HG and N3W freehub bodies.
