Sophisticated frame
The frame of the Frog 70 is made of lightweight aluminium, which makes it easy to control both when cycling and when walking with it. Frog has selected a kids-specific crank, which is slightly shorter for optimal energy transfer. The bike comes with two sets of tyres to allow children to discover both road cycling and cyclo-cross.
Shifting and braking
The Frog 70 has gears from Microshift, a lesser-known brand which nonetheless provides well performing gear components for many beginners road bikes. The Frog 70 comes with 10 gears and an 11-34 cassette, which makes for a wide gearing range, allowing your child to set a brisk pace even when going uphill. On the descents, your child can rely on Tektro rim brakes, which deliver good braking performance, ensuring the bike stops safely and timely.
