This Fizik Arione R5 Open saddle is a comfortable, value-for-money saddle. According to Fizik, this saddle is made for flexible cyclists, and can therefore ride in a deep sitting position. The saddle has a carbon-reinforced nylon shell. Due to the addition of carbon, this saddle is stiffer than a saddle with a nylon shell, making power transfer a lot better.
This shell is also less likely to sag, making this saddle last a lot longer. A saddle pad is placed on this shell, giving you good support. The Microtex cover also keeps you sitting well on the saddle and will not slide easily. The rails of this saddle are made of manganese steel. This construction filters out vibrations well and ensures a comfortable riding experience.
OEM saddle
OEM saddles are 100% original but made for the bicycle market and may differ slightly from saddles from regular consumer market when it comes to packaging material.

This saddle has a flat back which makes it very suitable for people who sit still on their bikes and do not rock their hips while cycling. Because this is a flat saddle it gives those people better support than a round saddle.
