Lightweight for long distances
Stiff, stable, lightweight. That is the frame of the Cube Travel EXC in a nutshell. This frame helps keep the bike’s weight down to approximately 14 kg. Thanks to the mounting points for lowrider racks on the front fork, the Cube Travel EXC can be turned into the perfect trekking bike. There are mounting points for bottle cages in two places as well to make it easy for you to remain well hydrated during long trips. The sophisticated geometry ensures that you cycle in a sitting position that has you leaning slightly forward. This active position is very suitable both for long tours and fast rides to work.

Top-class drivetrain
The Cube Travel EXC is a hybrid bike with a belt drive, which makes it an extremely reliable means of transport. The Gates CDN belt drive always feels smooth and is much quieter than a chain. Its biggest plus is its durability. Whereas a chain wears relatively quickly, a belt drive keeps running smoothly for a very long time and requires less maintenance. Responsible for gear shifting on this hybrid bike is a high-quality Shimano Alfine 8 hub, which offers a 307% range, plenty in most areas except mountainous regions. The great quality of this system also ensures smooth shifting in difficult conditions.

Fitted with everything your heart desires
One of the best features of this bike is its very solid equipment and accessories. Not only does it give you powerful hydraulic disc brakes with good modulation that makes them very safe, but this bike also has a hub dynamo and strong lighting set, good mudguards and a stable luggage carrier. The saddle and grips inspire a sporty sitting position while being very suitable for long rides. For such trips you may want to consider wearing cycling (boxer)shorts with a chamois for additional comfort. Please note that this hybrid bike does not come with a lock.
