The Cube Reaction C:62 Race is a hardtail mountain bike for riders who want a light and well-equipped MTB.
A real bang for the buck
You've probably already seen it, but at this Cube Reaction C:62 Race mountain bike is a real blast! Thanks to its carbon frame, fine equipment, it's a machine for pure and unlimited speed. In fact, this is a bike that you aspiring racers wish you had for mountain bike races!
The frame of this mountain bike is made of carbon. The Cube Reaction C:62 Race is therefore very light. This allows you to carry a lot of speed on this MTB. Because the geometry is comfortable, you can't get enough of racking up kilometres on the Reaction C:62 Race. This makes it an excellent cross-country MTB. The Fox 32 Float front fork has a 100mm suspension travel and features the high-quality FIT4 damper. Because there is a lock-out on the handlebar, you can choose open or closed suspension. As a result, uneven surfaces will no longer be a problem, but you can also cycle quickly and efficiently on flat terrain.
Great Shimano groupset and Newmen equipment
To ride at speed as well as handle tougher forest trails and hills, you need a wide gear range. With the 1x12-speed gears, you definitely have this at your disposal. The advantage of this is the lack of a front derailleur, keeping the bike lighter and more maintenance-friendly. However, this does make the steps between gears a bit large. The Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes give you plenty of braking power under all conditions. Furthermore, the MTB is largely equipped with high-quality Newmen parts, resulting in a light and fast bike.
The right choice of tyres
The great Newmen XA 25 wheelset is fitted with a Schwalbe tyre set. This includes the thoughtful choice of a Racing Ray front tyre and a Racing Ralph rear tyre. The front tyre gives a bit more grip, while the rear tyre is a bit more focused on good rolling resistance. This gives you the perfect mix between traction and speed!
